Maddies 1220 by 12/20 Birthday gift to El Ranchito

Since my last birthday, I've been blessed with so many wonderful things I can't even begin to list them and I am so very thankful that I've been given another year of precious life!
New opportunities to help however I can, new challenges to keep me busy, meeting new friends and seeing old ones. Life is good, very good.
Most of you know, I don't really celebrate my birthday, but this year, I'd like to celebrate it in a different way. To all of my friends who are considering a gift, card, or the ever popular "Birthday Shot" to please consider a gift to El Ranchito Home for Dogs in San Jose del Cabo instead. I am hoping to raise 1220 dollars by 12-20 of December.
El Ranchito is very special to me. I learned of El Ranchito in 2010, even before it became El Ranchito. I was ever so fortunate to stumble upon information about a couple of young ladies who spent most of their time and money on rescuing abandoned, neglected, and mistreated dogs and cats. They nursed the animals back to health and found homes for them. There was no shelter, there were no facilities, there was only their homes and so they rescued one or two animals at a time. Once I got in touch with them and spent some time talking to them and getting to know them better, there was no doubt in my mind, this was a cause I would support and help wholeheartedly.
It's been 8 years since and much has happened, El Ranchito has grown to be not only a rescue ranch, but also a very important part of the community. Funds they've received go not only towards the every growing list of vet bills, supplies, food, supplements, and maintenance, but they also help the poorer communities by sponsoring spay and neuter clinics, providing collars and leashes to those owners who are using ropes, cables, or wires instead, and also reporting and following through on cases of abuse and mistreatment of animals by their owners.
El Ranchito is funded 100% by our generous donations.
