Hi!
My name is Alyssa Sanchez, and I am the CEO of Hapi Paws. I hand craft unique customizable pet accessories suck as Friendship sets (A collar for your pet and a matching bracelet for you, a slide on bandana, slide on bow tie, leashes, etc. My company doesn't only exhist for pet fashion, but to strengthen the connection and relationship between pets and their owners. To a Hapi Paws customer, a pet isn't only a pet- it's a beloved member of the family. The current sewing machine I am using now is 30+ years old, and is falling apart, and soon I won't be able to use it. I don't have manufacturers because it is important that each product is hand made and exquisite quality. I was diagnosed with very severe Ulcerative Colitis in September 2016, and hospitalized for 14 days from September 26th- October 9th 2016. In that time, I got to be with the sweetest therapy dogs. Getting surprise visits from them really helped me get through those 14 days. Especially when one of the dogs looked almost identical to my own dog, Sophie. When I was in the hospital, I came up with a great idea: to make friendship sets for therapy dogs. I want to mass produce collars for the therapy dogs, and matching bracelets for the therapy dog owners to give to sick children they visit in the hospital, so they can feel comfortable, and keep that therapy dog visit to hold on to forever. I am going to start doing that soon, once I raise enough for me to get a new sewing machine. Any gift helps. And remember, it's not donating for just a sewing machine, it's for strengthening relationships between pets and owners, and helping chronically ill children at hospitals.
