Hands-On Hamtramck Class Fund

Hands-On Hamtramck is a community funded effort to bring more vocational support to the high schools in Hamtramck. Right now, a single automotive repair class is offered, free of cost, for any high school students in town. While previous fundraisers have proven very useful and have gotten the program off the ground, more funding is required to give students better equipment to work with. These upgrades, such as a vehicle lift, air compressor, and electrical diagnostic equipment will immeasurably enhance their learning experience and prepare them for upcoming careers in the automotive field. In time, this program will pave the way for more skilled trades classes to be offered at the high school level, to ensure students of all skills and interests have the support available to excel in any career path. Please support this effort so we can make sure the up and coming job force is trained to the highest standard before they step foot on a job site.
