So the vet just told me that Hamlet was born with a severe hip malfunction that causes lots of pain with every movement he makes. He has already started chronic arthritis at the age of 8 months. As his owner, it makes it hard for me to imagine what he's going through and harder knowing I can't do anything about it. So this is my last resort.
The vet suggested to replace both of Hamlet's hips in order for him to live a painfree/ happy doggy life. This procedure is the fastest alternative but it is also the most expensive. The total of the surgery comes out to $12,000. Although I have already saved $4,000, it would mean a lot to me if I got extra help since I don't have the extra $8,000 laying around. Another option would be for him to live off of medication but eventually the drugs will wear off and not work for him.
I am asking anyone who is willing to help out to donate any spare change they can to contribute to the procedure. Hamlet brings a lot of joy to a lot of people with his sweet personality and love and it's sad seeing him in pain.
Once again, I don't want anyone to feel like I am pressuring them to help out. This is only for those who know how much he means to me and my family.
Both Hamlet and I thank you for taking time to read this.
I would love to do this, but since I'm thirteen, I don't have any money. My mom barely has money because she has to pay bills, rent, and money for four cats, four kids, and two adults. I'm very sorry Beau. :( ♥
