Update: We are so grateful for all of your support! Any additional proceeds donated will help us to cover moving and up fitting expenses. We have estimated the upcoming expenses related to the move at around $5,000. We appreciate your continued support and prayers as we prepare for the major changes to come.

Haiti Awake needs your support!

Monday while Steeve, Becky, Kaitlyn and Ross were at lunch celebrating Steeve's birthday, they received the news that the children will have to vacate their current home no later than this Saturday, June 23. (Things work differently in Haiti, and landlord/tenant law allows a landlord to make such decisions, and the renter has no recourse).

Even though the news came by surprise, by the grace of God, it may have opened another very exciting door.

Haiti Awake has found a new home that would not only house the children from the Children's Home, but would also be Haiti Awake's central home base with enough space for the children, members of staff, Steeve's family, Becky, and visiting teams to all stay under one roof. We believe this would create community for the ministry and be a place where everyone is together, furthering our vision of Relationships, Gospel, and Hope.

While this is exciting news, we need your support! In order to rent this house for the coming year, we need to raise $10,000 before Saturday! Rent is due up-front on a yearly basis in Haiti. Again, things work much differently than they do in the United States!

Just a few months ago, we were reflecting on God's providence in the children's lives, and today, we see how true those words are.

"And on days like Saturday, days that are so picture perfect, I think it's important to remember where God has brought us from, and to look ahead, knowing that the same God who was with us in the darkest times will continue to lead, to guide, to direct as we wait on Him.
