Cuddle Bear Drive

https://www.alexslemonade.org September is childhood cancer awareness month and myself along with others from the Usborne Books and More company are doing a cuddle bear drive. What is a cuddle bear drive? For every $25 donated you will be funding the donation of the Cuddle Bear book and matching plush to go to a child going through some rough times! We want to donate as many of these sets as possible to children to put a smile on their faces while
they go through something that most of us will hopefully never have to experience! These kids are some of the strongest you will
ever meet and they deserve to have something that will make them feel good. My local team and I have decided to donate our bears and books to the Dayton Lemon Society which is affiliated with Alex’s Lemonade Stand. The foundation is across the country providing funding for cancer research, as well emotionally and financially helping families and children that are going through cancer treatment. Some families are not in a city that has the facilities required to treat their children and this foundation helps financially provide the transportation and lodging so they can stay close to their children. Usborne Books and More is DOUBLE generous when it comes to the Cuddle Bear Drive. 5% off all proceeds donated will also be donated to the Scott Carter foundation which also provides research funding to help find a cure for childhood cancer. Plus, once I have raised $250 in donations, Usborne Books and More will match 50% of the money raised to help me donate more books and bears to the Dayton Lemon Society! That means that your donation of $50 will provide THREE full sets of books and bears the Dayton Lemon Society (Alex’s Lemonade Stand) in honor of pediatric cancer awareness month!!
