Help Hadi Fight Cancer!

My name is Nuhaa Akbar. I am a mother of 3 beautiful young boys aged 2,4 and 6 years of age.

You can imagine how happy I am, having these kids playing with me and my husband every day, jumping, crying, laughing, running everywhere and hiding in all possible places so that I cannot find them.  I was the happiest mother that ever existed.  And suddenly on August 19, 2019, our whole world crumbled.  My husband was driving home when we got the news that Abdalhadi, the 4-year old one  -nicknamed as Hadi- was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia.  I could not believe that a simple fever which Hadi had and was admitted to hospital turned out to be a deadly disease!!!  My husband had to stop because I was crying and everything was dark before me. I do not recall when and how I got back home. I am writing to you with tears in my eyes and a very heavy heart since we were told that the treatment is not available in Mauritius (my home country) and we need to send him overseas.

I was torn apart not having the funds to be able to save our son’s life. Being a parent, a son or a daughter, I am asking you to please put yourselves in our shoes and feel our pain.

We are humbly requesting for your compassion and contribution. We must raise $90 000 USD to seek treatment overseas to save his life.  We all know that cancer kills people every day around the world.  I do not want this happen to my Hadi.  As a mother, I am asking you to please help us in raising the necessary funds for his treatment so that he can get better.  We are sure that your contributions will bring a ray of light in the darkness in which we are living.
