Equine Therapy Tragic Incident

Our Board of Directors have come together at this time to publicly address a tragic accident that occurred at our facility. We write this notice with tears in our eyes and heavy hearts.
On Tuesday afternoon, three of our horses were struck by lightning. They did not survive. The horses in regard to this incident are Bentley, Phoenix and Zippy. Our veterinarian was immediately contacted and arrived on site promptly. Upon examination, it was determined that none of the horses suffered or struggled in any way.
Bentley, Phoenix and Zippy can never be replaced. The memories they left us with, and the love they gave us, will last a lifetime.
Finding the words to describe what has happened is nearly impossible, and it is a profound loss to our program. It has hit us all very hard.
We are in need of large horses to continue serving the clients in our program.
