Hi Family and Friends! I'm so grateful you are reading this letter! I'm writing with much love for God and you. I truly hope this letter finds you joyful, well in body, soul, and spirit, and full of His love! I have a wonderful opportunity to spend a month in Kenya, Africa for a mission trip. We leave on this trip in April, which is also LESS than 5 months way. During our stay there we will be teaching in schools. This includes having woman/men seminars. Also we will be doing services with the kids that have NEVER heard the gospel. Along with the conferences we will be going to villages and doing door to door outreach and passing out food and clothes. This will be an incredible time not only sharing Jesus, but also reflecting Jesus in our actions. I have been praying for Africa during internship. It all started at youth prayers that we have at our church on Tuesday and Fridays. Prayer after prayer, Sunday after Sunday I noticed myself praying for Africa, blessing the people and the nation. Over time my prayers changed and I started praying for God’s will in my life and that my ambitions would not get in the way of His works. I received several confirmations from God through prayer, His word, and spiritual leaders in our church.  I am so blessed and fortunate to have such close relationship with God. I received a word from God “It will not be done in the natural way, it will be done in the Spirit” and He started preparing me. It was not easy to accept it, because I heard so many crazy, frightening stories about missionary trips to Africa. I know this trip is just the beginning of what God wants me to do. All these years God has been training me and making sure I don’t lose sight of what is important to HIM. I wish I could share every detail of this whole journey because there is so much that God did. I am so thankful to God for his promise and being faithful no matter what and I know He wants the same from every single one of us. I’m writing this letter in hopes that you see that it is not me, but Christ in me who gives me strength to conquer the fears and the doubts and go where God wants me to go. I opened my heart and answered His call. “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8 NIV) In the past years Help Africa ministry helped build a bible school, which has dorms for both men and women, along with that they have built wells and trained the locals to farm, sew, build, and so much more. This is just the beginning of something so great, but there is still so much that needs to be done. It’s such an encouragement to hear about these things, but it’s such a blessing when you can join and be a part of this great harvest simply by your prayers and financial support. Not all can go to the ends of the earth, but you can definitely be someone who helps send those who can. I ask that you would be open to this invitation. This letter is primarily to ask for your support in prayer because that is what takes precedence in His kingdom.
