Jesse's Medical Fund

My name is Justin Shirley and I am the father of Jesse Shirley. My son was born May 11, 2017 with a heart defect called Tetrology of Fallot with pulmonary artresia and MAPCAS. We delivered him at MUSC in Charleston thinking we would have to do major heart surgery right out the gate. Luckily we were able to wait awhile and let him grow some before he needed surgery. We were at MUSC for 6 weeks during that time when I first made the Gofundme page.

Just recently Jesse had to go in for a routine heart cath. A simple procedure that should have only kept us in for one night. When he was coming off of anesthesia, his heart stopped and he had CPR to help revive him. Hey needed to do emergency surgery on him the very next day. That was September 26th, we have been in the PCICU since then. He is recovering well but we had a few setbacks with trying to get off the breathing tube and taking out some of his lines. We are not sure how much longer we will be here.
