Greetings & Thank you for visiting my gofundme page. My name is Torie B and I have written a book for single moms. With your support I will be able to publish and make it available to single moms everywhere. I lived the Single Mom life from the early 1990's to 2005 while raising my daughter and since I was the first in my Village of friends to become a Single Mom I learned everything as I went and made mistakes along the way.
My book, "Help! I'm a Single Mom - Now What? " is full of practical advice based on the lessons I learned, so other Single Moms don't have to reinvent the wheel. It is a two part book. In the first part I cover several topics from why meeting with a Family Law Attorney is a good idea to suggesting ways the Single Mom can practice self care. The second part of the book, "I know a Single Mom - How can I help her?" is a list of twenty practical gifts that you may not have thought of which could help a Single Mom you know .
All of my advice and suggestions are based on my practical experience.
The money I am raising through this campaign will cover the costs of bringing the book to life from copy and line editing, website design, cover design, ISBN/Library of Congress/Copyright and getting the book available on Amazon in print and ebook formats.
Since this is my first time publishing a book I am working with some amazing companies in order to ensure everything above is done correctly. Bethany Kelly at publishingpartner.com and Beth Riley from BARdimass Communications are committed to this project and once the money is raised the book will be available within three months.
Everyone who donates will receive a signed copy of the book once it is available along with my forever gratitude. I wish I was able to complete this project without asking for help but I have learned over the years that sometimes it truly takes a Village to accomplish things.
