Matthew's funeral expenses
Donation protected
Our brother, Matthew Carl Marquez, was called Home to be with the Lord on December 16, 2018. This past weekend, we lost him to a tragic and brutal murder.
As some of you may know, Matthew and our siblings (Jesse, Kiara, myself) don’t have our parents here today, and we are in a position we never thought we would be in planning our brother’s funeral arrangements. We ask for your help during this difficult time and would appreciate any donations that will help go towards Matthew’s funeral expenses to give Matthew the proper burial he deserves and wanted.
Our brother had an intelligent, beautiful and humble heart and was always a joy to be around. If you were around Matthew in the 34 short years we had him, you were bound to laugh – whether it be from his sense of humor, wit, or crazy theories he would surely debate you on. He was a one of a kind soul. Matthew once said, “do for others, or what you earn will never benefit you.” That’s the type of brother, cousin, nephew, and friend Matthew was – a helping and selfless heart that always tried his best to help out whenever he could.
Thank you all so much for your support and prayers. Now, a verse from one of Matthew’s favorite songs.
“And we'll all float on
Alright, already, we'll all float on, alright
Don't worry, even if things end up a bit too heavy,
We'll all float on”
