Patty

In November of 2017, my dear cousin Patty (Patricia Martin Lorello) had a full hysterectomy due to cancer in her pelvic area. Patty was told she was cancer free but continued to notice alarming symptoms. Last July, 2018, Patty  was diagnosed with Stage 4 "malignant poorly differentiated nueroendocrine carcinoma". This cancer has been as brutal as it sounds. Patty has spent the last year doing everything she could to keep the cancer at bay. She entered hospice care Friday July 19, 2019.  If you know Patty, you know she is such a beautiful person, inside and out. Patty is full of love, laughter and fun. But she's more than that.
Patty is a woman who has been dealt blow after blow in life, starting with the untimely and devastating death of her own mother, Lenora, when Patty was just 15 years old. She has endured hardship and heartbreak throughout her life that would have brought most people to their knees.  Patty has met these challenges with her indomitable  and effervescent spirit. Despite everything life has thrown at her, Patty has continued on with a full,  forgiving, and hopeful heart. Patty loves her children, John and Adam, and her family and friends with all that she has. 
Even now, in hospice, Patty maintains her sense of humor and asks everyone who has come to see her to offer love and comfort, how they are doing. Due to her circumstances, Patty has been left with no savings and no life insurance. The heartbreaking truth is that we, her family and friends, need to reach out to you to ask for support to honor Patty's final wishes of a Catholic Mass and interment with her beloved mother.  Patty declines significantly every day. When she is aware, we still see that 100 watt smile, but her time is near. Patty has asked me to ensure that her final wishes are honored. I, in turn, am asking you to help us, her family and friends, to provide that for her. Thank so much for your continued generosity, love, and support.
