Humanitarian Crisis
Donation protected
Brothers and sisters in Christ, I have just learned today of a humanitarian crisis just beyond the walls of our church. Down Ridge Road is a mobile home park that has fallen into disrepair. Only seven of the 20 homes are currently inhabited (some with children but because of various problems there is no electricity or fresh water at these homes. Emergency management is aware of the situation and the homes have been deemed uninhabitable. The biggest problem right now is it could take the county a month to find new places to live. They are basically camping out, cooking however they can. They have no way to clean clothes. We need to become the hands and feet of God. We need to collect money to help purchase necessary items to help them survive for the next month and to possibly help them relocate.Together we can help provide for these people so desperately in need. What can we do? How can we help? -- Pastor Jim
