Gwenny's Emergency Dental Fund
Gwenny is suffering from advanced tooth decay and gum disease and has been so for probably over a year. She requires emergency dental work to extract at least four upper teeth and a thorough cleaning so that the infection caused by all the swelling and irritation does not enter her nerves or blood, poisoning her from the inside. I am legally blind and simply cannot afford the procedure. The only reason I even noticed her condition was that I finally smelled the infection. I need your help to keep her alive.
Whatever assistance you can provide will be put toward the cost of her care. Whatever is left over will be donated to a local non-profit - The Shakespeare Animal Fund - which does its absolute best to provide assistance to people who cannot afford care for their animals but unfortunately they cannot help everyone. Gwenny's procedure will take place sometime this week - 23rd-27th January, 2017. As I am writing this on Sunday the 22nd, no scheduling can be done until tomorrow.
Gwenny is the most loving, loyal, and tenacious cat I have ever known. Of her eight years, she has been with out family for six and is as much a child to me as my own human son and it breaks my heart to think of how many times she may have tried to tell me she was in pain and I simply did not understand.
