Matthew & Victoria's New Home Fund

Matthew and Victoria Boerschinger are setting up this go fund me account for anyone who may wish to give them a house warming gift and who has not already done so. We do not want anyone to get the impression we are in dire straights that is not the case. We did however have a new home built for ourselves and when this is done, typically others may want to give a house warming gift. We are not expecting anyone to do so, rather we are setting up this account as an option. The best house warming gift we could get would be a financial contribution to the construction of our new home. We were living in a mobile home that was in pretty rough shape.
When we got married in 2012 we had an older home in the city of Merrill WI and this mobile home in the Town of How, WI. Victoria developed Conversion Disorder in late 2013. It is a severe psychological disorder that effects different people in different ways. Some symptoms being common and others not so much. Victoria has non-epileptic seizures and at times difficulty walking and talking. This makes working at a secular job and driving impossible for Victoria at this time. The house we had in Merrill had two stories with the washer and dryer in the basement. Mobility was difficult, also living in the city added stress to the disorder. The mobile home is in the country and on one level, just steps to the front door. So we sold the house in Merrill and moved into the mobile home. Because the mobile home was falling apart we decided to build a new home on the same location.
Construction cost, especially the site work is more than we anticipated and keeps going up so it was no longer time to save up. The sale of the Merrill house certainly helps but it was not much more than the down payment of our new construction. While we know a percentage will be taken out of any contribution for use of the site and processing fees, we also know that this site is a great tool for those who want to raise funds.
We are currently paying a mortgage and keeping up the payments but any more money would be be added to pay it down faster. The more we can pay down in the means less interest paid on the mortgage. Again we do not expect anyone to contribute. Others are certainly in greater need but we want people to know if they are going to give a gift, contributing to the house payments would mean the most to us, Any funds given to this account minus fees will be used to pay on our loan. We plan on having this go fund me account up until we pay it down to less than $10,000.00
