We are from Gunalda & District Kindergarten Assoc Inc. We are a not for profit, community kindergarten run by a committee, receiving minimal funding from the government. Therefore, funds are needed to remain open and functional.
Gunalda & District Kindergarten Assoc Inc is the only kindergarten between Gympie and Maryborough in Queensland Australia.
At the moment we are in financial crisis with only 4 children enrolled for next year 2019.
Our organisation provides early childhood education in a safe, healthy and secure environment for all ethnics and all ability's/ disability's children aged between three and six years in a low sociology economic area. We aim to give the children with an engaging and challenging curriculum, whilst encouraging the children with lots of fun play based learning. Our goal is also to give the children confidence to enable them to begin and flourish further with their primary school education. We believe that this is a unique time of life and is to be valued and enjoyed whilst setting great foundations for the children's future health, learning and well-being, giving them skills to enjoy rich and successful relationships with others.
We ask with open hearts for your generosity of donations, at our greatest time of need. We struggle to just make payments on required running costs, leaving the kindergarten with out any funds to purchase new bikes, scooters, doll house toy shopping carts, most of which are broken or there isn't enough, many children are struggling with sharing. The 2 office chairs are a potential hazard. We require many other items that we have not been able to purchase.
My promise as President to you is that every cent risen will be wisely utilized.
