Guilia R. Chaytor has been diagnosed with an ultra rare disorder called Atypical HUS . She went from being a healthy, adventurous, full of energy little 2 year old to suffering an acute kidney failure due to her disease and now spending her days at Sick Kids Hospital all within the blink of an eye. All her family and friend's hearts have been shattered with the news and although there currently is no cure for her condition
we still hope and pray for her to still be able to live as normal as possible despite all the torturous treatments she's been going through. She has been such a strong and courageous little girl "who just wants to go home". Her parents Kasia Wachsmann and Mike Chaytor  have been by her side along with all her family and friends around the clock day and night showing nothing but love and support and patiently awaiting for her safe recovery. We love and care for her beyond words and want nothing but the best for her but to do so We need your help! Guilia is undergoing daily dialysis appointments, blood transfusions when needed, soliris (a drug she is receiving every other week with a cost of 500 000.00 dollars a year )(2nd most expensive drug in the world as of 2016)  and any other treatments necessary along the way as they will be frequent to keep up with her condition . With her parents by her side 24hrs and a 1 year old sister (Rosa Chaytor) who also needs accomadations during these difficult days; any financial assistance  to help recover lost wages, allow this family to get by and most importantly  give Guilia all that is necessary to ensure her well being is very much  appreciated. Guilia is a little girl who loves anything with an engine, she loves arts and crafts, cooking/ baking
but most of all loves to be in water and swimming! It will be hard this summer when her parents are going to have to tell her that they can't go out camping to tobermory which is her favourite thing to do (that's how she celebrated her 2nd bday!)   Guilia has a little sister (Rosa 1.5 yrs old)  who she loves to experience all new things with but now with her condition she will be limited to what she can do. Especially what she loves best, swimming,  due to her currently permanent dialysis line positioned in her neck.
