Guatemala Volcanic Eruption Fund

Donation protected
Adrian Cuyuch (my papa)&  I (Nikte Xquic Cuyuch) are raising funds for a Guatemala Volcanic relief fund. As many of you know Volcan De Fuego in Guatemala had a eruption resulting in 109 people killed and dozens more still missing , according to Guatemala's National Coordination for Disaster Reduction. The death toll has continuously increased in the days since the natural disaster.

Meanwhile, some 12,407 people have been evacuated and 4,175 people have taken refuge in shelters (these people have be displaced and left with nothing.)
The two eruptions that have occurred at the Volcano near Guatemala City (25 miles away) have been explosive, creating pyroclastic flows — fast-moving, searingly hot clouds of volcanic ash and gases.
Pyroclastic flows are extremely dangerous, with temperatures as high as 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit.  The clouds are denser than air, they can rush down valleys or gullies at speeds of 100 miles an hour or more and overcome people trying to run away.
Remember Pompeii? Many of these Guatemalan women, men, and children were found perfectly preserved under layers of ash.....

My father Adrian Cuyuch has planned for the money to be give to Maria Del Carmen Tuy. She is a elementary educator in her town of Sololá, Guatemala. As well as a Mayan Priestess for the Kaqchikel community.  We had the honor of her coming to Florida and performing a traditional Mayan ceremony for my marriage.
Maria del Carmen would use your generous donations to donate to multiple local firestations and also to shelters that are holding thousands of people who have lost everything.
If you can donate .50 cents, $1, $5, or whatever you can give to help these people in need. If you can not donate please at least share this.
