Flores/Quackenbush Memorial Playground

On September 7, 2017, our little community in Butte, Alaska, suffered a tragic loss of five little girls; Alexis, 12; Nevaeh, 8; Liluanna, 7; Sofia, 6; Jaelynn, 3, in a house fire. This loss has touched the hearts of Alaskans and others throughout our country.
Our fundraising group is currently raising money for a Memorial Playground in memory of the Flores/Quackenbush girls. This playground, as well as a sculptural musical instrument area and a covered picnic pavilion will all be built at Butte Elementary. Access will be available to the general public during non-school hours.
Our group is working with BARCO, Butte Area Residents Civic Organization, a Butte, AK, area non-profit that will be handling the donations for this endeavor. Our plans are to complete the project the summer of 2019.
Please join us in creating a lasting, beautiful tribute to these precious little girls. One that will help to bring healing to the family, the responders and our community.
