Support for Dominic

On September 20, 2019 my best friend Jill's son Dominic, 9, was taken to the ER.  Dominic had been complaining of pain in his legs and swelling.  While in Virtua at Voorhees he was diagnosed with Rhabdomyolysis a rare but serious condition that causes the muscles to break down in the body and cause an increase in protein.  He was transferred to CHOP in Philadelphia where his conditioned worsened.  He needed to be placed on a breathing tube and dialysis.  His condition started to improve with the help of the doctors and nurses at CHOP.  They found out the cause of his condition was due to Legionnaires' disease another very rare condition.  His current condition has left him unable to walk and be able to take care of himself.  He will soon need to be transferred to an inpatient rehab where he will have to endure weeks of physical therapy to regain his strength.  Since his initial ER visit his mom Jill has been unable to work.  She has been by Dominic's side every day and night.  Jill also has another son Carmen who through this time has been such a great big  brother! However, since Jill is unable to work while she helps her son overcome these 2 very rare illnesses her living expenses including rent, utilities, groceries, ect will be next to impossible for her to afford.  She is a single mother of 2 amazing boys and does not receive any help from their father.  I am here asking for some help for her.  If you could find it in your hearts to donate to make sure that she does not fall behind and help make sure that her sons Carmen and Dominic have the necessities they will need while Jill is out of work.  As a single mother myself I know how hard it is to live paycheck to paycheck.  When something so unexpected occurs you feel lost and overwhelmed with worry not knowing how you will be able to continue to pay your bills and to make sure your children's needs are still met.
