4th Annual Giant Steps Junior Relay

Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center was founded in 1998, and is based on the belief that caring for and riding horses can be a powerful and life-changing tool for healing individuals with physical, emotional, and developmental challenges. It is our mission to enrich the lives of children and adults by empowering their physical, emotional, and cognitive development through equine-assisted therapies and activities. Our long-term goal is to improve the health outcomes of Bay Area children and adults with disabilities by providing them with affordable, effective and safe equine-based therapeutic services. Two of our very own riders, sisters Christina and Danielle, will be competing in the 4th Annual Giant Steps Charity Classic Junior Relay on August 4th. Christina enjoys the confidence she gains from being in charge of such a large animal. Danielle learns strength from being in sync with her horse.
