Dealing with an illness is very expensive and a financial burden. Since I was 21 years old and not aware of that incurable fatal brain disorder I had a return of premium term life insurance policy. By the age of 41 years old my monthly premium payments would of been returned to me. Also the return of premium life insurance builds cash value, which I could of borrowed against during the level premium period. March of 2016 I received a life insurance policy cancellation letter. It disclosed "due to the health bureau your illness put our company in high risk to cover you" Wow! All my life I was taught the importance of investing in life insurance so my family does not have to worry about my funeral expenses. After researching new policies with that illness reporting to the health bureau I am only qualified for a basic $5,000 life insurance policy with a $100 monthly premium. As for now I am not covered by any life insurance policy. By the grace of God I am medical bills debt free. I have not been able to work full time since 2011. I still worked even through having a mini strokes (TIA). I have been dealing with that illness since I was a child. I had my first pediatric stroke when I was two years old. I would complain about my symptoms but no one did not take it serious. On June 2008 I started visiting doctors about my problem list of symptoms as a child because I was hit across my head with a shotgun from a home invasion. I was misdiagnosed in 2008 due to low resolution radiology. By the grace of God I was pregnant in November 2008 and God covered me by not having any complications with my pregnancy. After I naturally childbirth my son in 2009 I start visiting my primary doctor in 2010 about my problem list of symptoms again. I was misdiagnosed again in 2011 with fibromyalgia. I was receiving misdiagnosed treatments from April 2011 up until God revealed to me in a dream to have a MRI on my brain to discover the true illness in July 2012. I have been under a neurosurgeon since 2013. My neurosurgeon wanted me to have brain surgery in 2013. By being obedient to the Holy Spirit I declined the brain surgery. After researching the incurable fatal brain disorder I learned the top misdiagnosed illness due to similar symptoms are:

Multiple Sclerosis,

Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Lupus, Migraines, Carpal Tunnel, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s). I am fighting with that incurable fatal brain disorder alone. I am currently without a 100 % support system as a should! It is not surprising to me because I lacked a support system when I was child. That is why I was in juvenile court system system between the ages of 12-15 years old. Currently I am a single mother, I am on bed rest, and I need a caregiver. I do not suppose to be driving but by the grace of God He gives me the strength to drive in spite of the widespread chronic pain and other symptoms.

I live three hours away from my specialists team at UAB hospital. Since September 2016 I have been driving myself to my doctors appointments and taking my son out of school so he can go to the doctors appointments with me. By the grace of God my son still made the principal's list every nine weeks and he has been accepted in a gifted and talented program. I have been silent of the mistreatment for awhile. The money will go towards monthly prescriptions co pays, car maintenance, hotel accommodations, food, fuel, and funeral expenses.
