Grow the Fro

Tax deductible
Just over a month ago my grandmother passed away. Adelle was an inspring woman that brought so much joy, love, and comfort into this world.

Part of the Jewish mourning process involves practices designed to avoid vantity, including the avoidence of cutting your hair or shaving.  As we were all sitting around reminising  and laughing about the four sons growing out their beards, my sister brought up my Dad's old Jewfro and how funny it would be if he tried to grow it again.

One thing led to another and he agreed to grow out the fro and his beard but only if we honored Nana's memory while doing it. Which leads me to the fundraiser.  Nana suffered from the debilitating effects of Crohn's Disease. Watching this disorder control her life was one of the most challenging things to observe and I know how much she  worried about that.

We hope that you will help us honor her memeory by donating to the Chron's and Colitis Foundation so one day someone doesn't have to suffer the way she did.

For every $500 we raise between now and the end of the year, my Dad will both #GrowTheFro and his beard for that many months.

Your donation means the world to us, thank you.

And if anyone knows Seth Rogan, aka my father's love child, let me know. We would really like to get him in on this.
