THERE'S AN HERB FOR THAT!

I've been saying that for years. It started when I discovered that my husband has a hard time with a lot of modern medicines. His system just doesn't get along well with manmade medicines. Don't get me wrong, there is a time and a place for them, but wouldn't it be better if you fed your body good foods and it became strong enough to overcome many ailments on its own- allowing you to avoid those medicines altogether? Oftentimes that is a possibility, and in the case of my husband, it became our way of life.

I began working in an herb shop and learned some wonderful things from great teachers. I have recently moved to Nauvoo, Illinois and discovered that my familiar way of life doesn't exist here. There are NO HERB SHOPS here! I also have no job here, and since herbs are my passion, why not share it with Nauvoo?

So this southern girl has moved to the midwest and dreams of opening an herb shop, a place to teach others the things I know and to share healthy options with people who need and want them. I can't do it by myself though.

THIS is where YOU come in!

I need a little boost to bring my dream to reality. That equates to funds. Those funds are necessary within the next 30 days to meet the state's expectation for the shop to open.

What does $25,000 do?
*It builds adequate inventory to get this shop growing.
*It builds shelves and tables and protects the supplements so they can provide good quality.
*It fills in the basic supplies necessary to maintain a shop.
*It provides a building that will offer space for classes as well as products. 
*It provides a family with a way to make a living for themselves after years of struggles and difficulties.

I'm not asking you to give something for nothing either. I'll send you a thank you gift for your donation. If you donate at least $20, I'll send you a small jar of my special "Butt Cream." That probably made a strange look come across your face due to wonderment. I'll explain: When my youngest child was born, he suffered from many hardships, and bad diaper rashes were a result of some of them. I played around and made my own recipe for a salve to ease his discomforts. When he was old enough to talk, he named it "Butt Cream" (even though it is not a cream, it is a salve). It is fantastic for things like burns, rashes, insect bites, eczema, and many other skin difficulties. If you are able to donate $50 or more, then I'll also send you a pair of my handmade beaded earrings. Or if you're a guy and not into jewelry, I'll trade the earrings for a handmade beaded keychain instead. This is my way of thanking you for helping me realize my dream and to care for my family in a way that is meaningful to me.
