Our story starts in 2014, with a session musician based in Nottingham named Adrian J Moore…
Adrian has been working as a professional session musician since the age of 18. He attributes his success to knowing great people, and having the chance to play on great platforms resulting in him being noticed and invited to do more. However, he always tells, of how along his working journey, information about the business hasn’t been easily available, resulting in bad decisions at times, and many missed opportunities.
Grow Together was birthed from Adrian being able to identify with the lack of accessible guidance available to people gifted in music, which often leads to many walking away from a dream they have to be active in a music career, or give up on a natural gift they enjoy but don't know how to develop.
With this in mind, in 2014, a God inspired concept came to him!
To hold a conference for musicians, facilitated by professional musicians who have experienced a successful career in industry.
‘Grow Together’ was born!
Our first conference will be taking place on the 1st and 2nd September at New Life Church in Derby, and will cater to 300 delegates. Your donations will contribute to the successful delivery of this conference, and will help us to continue the vision.
Grow Together will become a yearly event, delivered on a larger scale and to a larger crowd. Next year and beyond, the conference will expand to involve more instruments and other areas of industry including sound and multimedia.
Next year, we aim to start the ‘Grow Together Summer Camp,’ where children and teenagers will spend a portion of their holidays being taught music and important principles by the best musicians in the world.
And there’s still more!
We aim to produce a quarterly magazine with tips, advise and testimonials from musicians, industry experts, artist managers, music scouts, leading brands and more. This magazine will provide people with information so they can network with professionals from their own environment.
Our mandate is to pass on the baton to young and gifted individuals so music in the UK is kept alive. We want those coming up behind us to run further than we have gone and accomplish more than what we dreamt of. We want to ensure the mantle is carried and that the spirit of excellence continues and reaches higher heights! Collectively, we can Grow Together, and help develop musicians for the next generation.
