Griffin's iTheatics Summer Academy

We are thrilled that Griffin has earned the opportunity to be in NY this summer!! In January, Griffin auditioned along with thousands of other students for 1 of 30 spots available in the United States for the iTheatics summer choreography DVD shoot.
Each summer 30 students are chosen from an intensive 3 round audition process. Each level of audition includes acting, vocals, and of course choreography. The chosen students will then spend 10 days in NYC working with ITheatrics and Broadway professionals to create an instructional choreography DVD for directors who might need assistance creating challenging scenes in the musicals they have chosen or might need full or inspiration for choreography for musical numbers.
This opportunity opens doors for young actors like Griffin. Students involved with ITheatrics have gone on to touring casts, new works, and yes, Broadway and TV musicals. The most recent ITheatrics student - Maddie Ballio could be seen playing Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray, Live!
ITheatrics is the educational sister of Music Theatre International - the largest musicals licensing company in the world. ITheatrics develops Broadway Jr musicals and works closely with Disney and other licensing companies to provide play kits for the most experienced to the greenest of directors.
