Grieving Momma, Medical Bills & new Diagnosis

I am making this go fund me page to help my mom, Melissa. The past couple of years have been some of the most joyful and some of the most difficult of our lives. With a recent cancer diagnosis, I thought it might be time to ask for some help after my mom has been handling much of everything on her own so far, although I must acknowledge the loving support from friends & our immediate and extended family, however at some point we all could catch a break.
Some of "the story":
June 8th of 2019 was my wedding. My husband Joe and I went away on our honeymoon. We returned June 18th to the worst news of my life. We lost my little brother, Justin, age 25. My husband and I found out in the baggage claim and the terror replays in my head over and over. We miss him so much. My mom is just beside herself with grief. She was the last family member to see him alive. That coupled with the decline of her two parents (my grandparents) is devastating. My grandfather ended up in nursing home just days after my brother's death. My grandfather lasted 5 months and left us on Veteran's Day. The heartbreak was just too much for my grandparents and their health immediately started to decline. Our Pop-Pop is with Justin in heaven. Over the years, my mom has been taking care of my grandparents and her son and working full time as a teacher. She took in my grandparents 2 dogs when my grandmother entered a rehab. shortly after my grandpa passed. My mom has 2 dogs of her own. She has medical bills left-over from my brothers care, as if the pain of loosing him isn't enough.
Then, 2 weeks before Christmas my mom found out she has Stage 2 breast cancer. She has a road ahead of her, chemo-therapy and surgery. My mom is strong, optimistic, and she is ready to heal and fight this. Our family is experiencing some serious emotional whiplash from this "one thing after the other" spiral of events. We are allowing spiritual healing to arrive, knowing that we are left on this earth to make it count.
I am making this page to help my mom with: medical bills & hospital visits, to help pay for some items for memorial (urn, etc), help with lawyer fees for my grandparents and their nightmare medicaid story. Then of course, most importantly now, for her own medical bills. I have been researching alternative care to support my momma while she endures conventional treatments (chemo-therapy, surgery, and radiation). She is planning to try some alternative healing (ex: yoga, acupuncture, energy healing, CBD products), to off-set the chemo. If this fundraising works out she may even be able to try an integrative oncologist who can help increase the efficacy of the chemo-therapy and help her in all aspects of her healing, including grief. I believe so strongly in these modalities, they are just not covered by most insurances at this time.
All who know Melissa, know that she will drop anything to be there for a friend or loved one. It is a no small ordeal for us to reach out on her behalf.
Thank you for helping to take some stress off of her plate, even just a little, so she can focus on her tremendous grief and now her own big journey ahead.
