Fresh! NJ Farms & Farmers Markets

Tax deductible
Will you make a $25 donation to help us raise $2,500 for our show on farming in New Jersey?

100 $25 donations will get us there!

Thanks to you and other donors, we have raised $2,500 to complete Jersey Blues - now we need to raise another $2,500 to complete A Farm, Two Markets & A Grill.

Greener New Jersey Productions is a nonprofit producing shows for TV and the web on farming and parks in the Garden State.  We have three new shows on farming as part of the FRESH! series as we celebrate our five-year anniversary.

The three new shows are CUMBERLAND CORNUCOPIA  in Cumberland County, JERSEY BLUES in South Jersey and A FARM, TWO MARKETS & A GRILL in Hunterdon County (descriptions  below).

CUMBERLAND CORNUCOPIA is completed and can be viewed at  https://vimeo.com/222704684 .  Thanks to you and our GoFundMe campaign plus other donors, we have raised the funding for Jersey Blues, which is in editing now.

To complete the Hunterdon show, we must raise an additional $2,500 in July. Please consider making a donation of $25 or more.

Your donation is tax deductible and goes directly into the filming – not to overhead costs - and pays for the film crew, editor, graphic designer, music rights and closed captioning.

Please share with your friends so we can tell these wonderful stories  about farms, farmers and markets.

THE FRESH! SERIES

Jersey Blues - met goal & raised $2,500! Thank you!
Filmed & in editing now!
The Garden State ranks fifth in the nation in blueberry production. Chock full of antioxidants, blueberries are healthy and nutritious – but they are also outrageously delicious. We'll visit a farm, a famous pie baking barn, a winery, research center, the Pine Barrens and Whitesbog Village.

A Farm, Two Markets and A Grill - need $2,500
Residents of the river towns along the central part of the Delaware River seem to love roadside stands and farmers markets. This past summer, we visited Sandbrook Meadow Farm (an organic farm and CSA), the popular community-centered Homestead  Farm Market, the local vendor-centric Hunterdon Land Trust Farmers Market, and finish with food prep at Hamilton Grill, an award-winning restaurant in Lambertville.

Cumberland Cornucopia - Completed - Watch online!

In search of delicious and nutritious local produce and garden products, Megan heads to South Jersey. We’ll visit Sheppard Farms and Legacy Farms – an organic farm, tour the Eastern Fresh Distribution Center, find out about nursery products at Overdevest Nurseries, shop and dine the Bayshore Center’s Farmers Market & Oyster Cracker Cafe and help pick (and taste!) apples at Sunny Slope Farms.

You can watch our completed videos at http://www.greenernewjersey.org or on public television.
