Grant Mans Wish/Own personal room

Grant Man’s Wish Grant Hopkins is an average 7-year-old. He loves his family, his friends, and most of all life itself. He has a spirit that is unmatched by any other. In December of 2016, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, which is a vigorous cancer that has spread to most of his body. Grant has fought through five rounds of chemo, and in May of 2017 he endured a 13-hour surgery to remove the tumors. After the surgery, he also had two bone marrow transplants. After 12 rounds of radiation, he received another scan, which showed another tumor on his liver. This meant another surgery for this strong little fighter. After recovering from that last surgery, he started immunotherapy, a treatment that uses the antibodies of Grant’s own immune system to help fight the cancer. Recently, Grant was discharged from the hospital on February 24, 2018. He is currently scheduled to be readmitted on March 18th for his third immunotherapy. This little man has been through challenges no child should have to endure. “Grant Man” is tougher than your modern superhero. Which brings me to his wish. Grant’s family lives in a 3-bedroom trailer with his parents and three older siblings. More than anything, Grant would like to have his own room. To sleep in. To cry in. To be mad in. To have a place to stay when he is cancer-free and happy once again and a space to call his own. For that to happen, they would need to add a room to their trailer or buy a home with an extra room for Grant. Grant’s parents have attempted to make this dream a reality for Grant, but they have exhausted all their resources. They would love nothing more than to give this one special wish to their son in the midst of this huge fight for his life.
