Grace Park Memorial Fund

Grace Park was more than a Mom. To her daughters, she was their sole mate, to  her son, she was his biggest fan, and to her son-in-law, she refused to even allow him to call her mom-in-law —Only “mom” is what she would be respond to.  Her light radiated to those around her and, like the sun, we couldn’t help but draw closer to her.  Above all, she believed in laughter and till the end of her days, she laughed all the way to heaven.

To outsiders, it seemed she had been dealt the unluckiest hand—she was a single mother who raised three kids by teaching piano lessons and starting an after school program, she put them through private school and college, and worked 60 hour weeks at her small business.
In December 2014, along with filing bankruptcy and losing her home, she was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer and told she had months to live. Despite every hardship and struggle, she remained joyful.

For the past three years, Ms. Grace Park battled cancer with grace and dignity. By God's grace, she suffered no pain, and showed no signs of illness for more than three years. While she fought her own battle, she led a Bible study group, counseled others, and served as a beacon of light for anyone who was struggling, always ready to lend her compassion and strength to those in need. Until the very end, she was all grace.

She leaves behind her two daughters, Elizabeth and Esther, who were not just her daughters, but her best friends, as well and her son Sam who she loved with all her heart. She also leaves Charles her son-in-law whom she considered her own son. And lastly, she leaves behind her 15-year-old pomeranian, Mimi, who she treated like her youngest daughter.

The celebration of the life of Grace Park will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 10AM at Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes and Crematory located at 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Norcross, GA. 30092. The family will receive friends and those touched by her life to celebrate Ms. Grace Park on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 8PM to 9PM. The Park Family would love for everyone to come and join them to see their loving mother off as they say their final goodbyes.

This page was created as a way to accommodate everyone who would like to pay their final respects. The Grace Park Memorial Fund will go toward unpaid medical bills and funeral costs. Thank you for the outpour of love and support.
