Grab & Give Bags

Lately I've been keeping packets of nuts & bottles of water in my car to hand out to people I see on the street. When they thank me for what I have to offer, I always tell them I wish I could do more. So I'm asking for a little help so that I can do more.

My mom & I have talked about going to Costco and buying a bunch of stuff to make Grab & Give Bags. These are zip-lock bags that have a variety of basic, much-needed items: food, water, socks, over-the-counter medications, etc. We can get a decent amount of stuff with what my mom & I are willing to spend but the more money I raise here, the more bags we can make to hand out. 

But, wait, you don't have the extra money to donate right now? That's ok because there are two other ways that you can help!

1) Once we have all the stuff for the bags, we will be holding an assembly party. If you have time to donate, come help put bags together. You can also take some with you to distribute.

2) Toothbrushes: those individually wrapped ones with your dentist's logo on it. Do you use those? Or are you collecting them in a drawer in your bathroom somewhere? Send them to me! They are a great addition to these bags but really expensive to buy. I can't be the only person who has 7 or 8 of those lying around. We can use it as an excuse to get together or you can private message me and I'll give you my mailing address.
