GPWSLL Reached Williamsport!
Tax deductible
These boys - #13strong - are the Great Lakes Tournament Champions! They are one of only eight teams in the entire U.S. that will compete in the 2017 Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA, starting August 17.
On behalf of the team's families, the Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores Little League is asking for support for the Williamsport Travel Fund. Funds raised will be used to help subsidize the 13 families' travel costs.
We were able to raise $2,500 for the Indianapolis/Great Lakes Regional Tournament portion of their trip. Thank you to all of our donors! For the Michigan State Tournament, the parents and players raised $2,500 by working at McDonald's and hosting a car wash.
Each leg of the tournament requires the families to travel hours away, stay at hotels for an entire week, and eat nearly every meal at restaurants. We hope to raise an additional $2,500+ to support our GPWSLL families.
GPWSLL is a 501c3 nonprofit. Your donation is tax deductible. We have a robust social media presence. Supporters will be acknowledged on our website and social media accounts (Facebook & Instragram). Sponsors (those that donate $500 or more) will be given ad space in our 2018 program book and on a banner that will be displayed at Ghesquiere Park during the 2018 season.
