Cancer treatments expenses for Ed

I am raising funds in order to help in costs of Eds upcoming cancer treatments. He's expected to under go treatments out of town for a scope and MRI in Kamloops and chemo therapy and radiation in Kelowna within the next 1-2 week. My husband was diagnosed with Undifferentiated malignancy squamous cell carcinoma with focal keratinization. This form of cancer attacks the sinus tract, throat, tongue and can move to other areas of the body such as stomach and lungs. If we have caught it early enough his chances of survival are much greater than if we haven't and it becomes aggressive. His coming scope in Kamloops on February 19 is to search for the beginning location of the cancer that has created 5 masses within his left lymph node the biggest measuring to be max diameter of 4.3 centimetres. Through ct scan the masses show that they cause displacement to the cartiod artery medially and compress his left jungular vein.

Ed is a loving father and has been our main income provider to our family of 8 at home and 9 total. Ryan 23, Kimberlee 10, Arianna 8, Zachary 4 and Jacob, Cole, Emma 2.

He has currently been laid off work and we will be awaiting for medical Employment insurance to kick in. The funds we are hoping to raise are to help out with the traveling costs of gas, hotels and food to get him to the appointments in Kamloops 3 hours from our home and to Kelowna 6 hours from our home along with help around the home to be able to ensure our children's needs can be met. I will work as much as I can during this time but also find it very important for me to be able to be by my husbands side during this time as well. I don't want to see him have to go through this alone.
