On March 30th a fire broke out in the downstairs livingroom. Jessica was asleep upstairs. She was able to escape out a window but not without smoke inhalation injury. She first went to Cmmc and than had to be life flighted to Maine medical center. Jessica is a fighter with many medical issues. She fought to breathe. She fought to stay alive and in her son's life. Our dog Finley was rushed to the emergency vet. He has been on medications. 2 xrays on his lungs. He woke Jessica up and saved her. Star our kitty suffered 2 burnt paws. The firefighters were amazing and put her on oxygen. We have been so blessed with all of us bring alive. Now as bills start piling up we need help. Even if it's a kind word or a share.

Family that's what's important. We are here and alive. Forever a visible forehead scar on Jessica. Unseen damage internally. A home gone. A family misplaced. A family lost and confused, wanting answers..wanting to go home

All statements have been given, neighborhood interviews, we handed over our security system which recorded everything, we have been cooperative because we have nothing to hide. Jessica was home alone, asleep and woken up by Finley. Our life is on hold while we wait for Countryway Insurance and Colonial Adjustments Mr Provost. We see the outside lawn grown up, windows covered, the stench, the loss but we are blessed to be alive. Blessed that Finley is ok. Star is ok. We are all mentally struggling. Jessica physically. But we are together and alive. God is good.

When you try and stay positive and wait but your just so tired and want to go home. I should be painting my walls. I bought paint the day before. Wearing an eeg I bought paint at the hardware store . I should be switching my mulch over. Switching my curtains to Spring ones. I should be in my home. We wait for: lprovost@colonialadj.com
We wait. Life moves on and yet we dont. We just want to go home.
