Q: Why does Good Night Tales need funding?
A: For over a year, we've poured all our heart, soul, and money into this project, and quite frankly, we're running out of cash. But thanks to crowd-funding, we can keep on track. And that's where you come in!
Q: Where will the money go?
A: It will continue to pay the immensely talented pool of writers, illustrators, narrators, composers, videographers, editors, sound mixers, and programers who bring so much love and passion to each story on Good Night Tales. We have two completed stories now, three more in production, and an endless supply of others we can't wait to share!
Q: What stories will launch with the app?
A: With your contributions, the app will launch with four bedtime stories, The Helpful Little Engine, The Three Lazy Pigs, The Little Red Hen, and 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, with The Adventures of Peter Rabbit soon to follow.
Q: When will Good Night Tales launch?
A: We are working hard to hit a December 1st launch date. Stay tuned!
Q: How much will the app cost?
A: The app is FREE, as is the first story, The Helpful Little Engine.
Additional stories will be 99¢.
Ten percent of all app store proceeds will be donated to Doctors Without Borders, which provides healthcare to the poor, and International Justice Mission, which fights human trafficking.
The remainder will go toward funding future stories.
Q: Is the app in beta testing now?
A: YES!
Q: What has the response been from children?
A: Children LOVE it! They are mesmerized by the beauty of the illustrations, the rhythmic cadence of the narrators, and the fun twists on old classics. They also have responded incredibly well to the magical bedroom sets that appear after each story and enjoy treasure hunting as we pan around the room.
Q: Is Good Night Tales only useful for bedtime?
A: Great question! Because the stories download to your device, Good Night Tales is a perfect option to entertain your kids on a plane trip, a long car ride, or waiting in line at a store!
Q: How much can I give?
A: Like our imaginations, the sky is the limit! Each dollar past our goal will go directly towards producing the next story on our list. Every little bit helps!
