Hey guys, it's Lisle! You might know me for my voiceovers on videogames like Shenmue, Virtua Fighter and Tekken, or for my work in "Lost In Translation" or maybe I was even lucky enough to have met you in person at an anime con over the past couple years! :) But more than likely, I'm hoping you also know me as a friend.

So thank you for taking the time to read these words about my very best friend in the universe, my beautiful rescue cat, Princess Genki.

I rescued Genki in 2007, and not only has she been my companion and family, but she was also the first step of me getting myself out of a very bad relationship/situation.

As you may know, Genki has been ill since the first week of January. Multiple visits to the vet, scans, and blood tests have yet to identify the cause of her suffering, and I've spent most of this time keeping her fed by syringe.

She is my world; an absolute sweetheart and so full of love and character. It breaks my heart to see her struggling like this, and I have been doing all I can to make it right for her - which is why I'm reaching out to you guys now.

This time of year is always a slow time for me, and usually I can barely afford to pay the rent and bills. And as you may know, the bills for vet consultations, X-rays, ultrasounds, tests and treatment are not cheap. Over the past few days alone the total is well into four figures. Of course I believe that Genki's health is worth EVERY penny, however I am being left in very trying circumstances by these unexpected payments.

I would never ask you all for this kind of help if I could keep up with the bills myself, but in my current situation I owe it to my angel to seek the support of the friends and fans I've been lucky enough to gain over the years.
