good boys - helping kaiju and oni

i'm creating Good Boys, a tabletop roleplaying game about pet dogs in a fantasy setting who go on adventures, bond, solve problems, and help us tell the stories of our own pets both past and present. specifically, i'm creating it to help my two dogs (both girls!) kaiju and oni, who unfortunately ran into some medical issues very soon within each other.
kaiju has been having trouble with her intestinal tract and needs expensive xrays and possible future procedures to deal with the problem, which right now makes pooping difficult and affects her appetite. oni, an idiot, found kaiju's prescription to help with this and ate the entire thing, causing an overnight visit at the vet ER (scary because she has low-level heart problems!) and making existing issues flare up.
they're both rescues from the local humane society. kaiju, as a puppy, was someone's christmas present, abandoned at the shelter a few months later because she was "too much responsibility". oni scared off potential adopters due to her health problems and was even returned to the shelter after a previous adoption.
quite simply, we can't afford our regular monthly bills, rent, and the massive costs of BOTH animals hitting an unlucky streak at the same time. we're asking for help getting their health cleared up until our insurance gets paid back down and we can take over. any excess money will serve as a donation to our local humane society to help existing pets in need. (two dollars will be reserved from this, however, to buy kaiju and oni two pup cups, which are doggie snow cones made by a local snow cone place that they love)
i'm designing this game as a way to thank everyone who donates and as a game to eventually give wide release as a way to appreciate and celebrate our current pets, to give us a space to process and share stories about our animals, both joyful and bittersweet, and as a way to give our lost pets one final adventure with us.
