Gonzalez children scholarship fund

The Board of Directors of The Dunes is establishing this GoFundMe for Fred.  He and Olivia have done so much for The Dunes, and they have the most awesome kids.  Please contribute to a scholarship fund for them.

AJ (their oldest son) is in his Junior year at Texas A&M College Station University and is currently in the Texas A&M Corp of Cadets, Fighting Texas Aggie Band, and the Parsons Mounted Cavalry, all while taking a full academic load and being successful. Due to Hurricane Harvey, JD (their youngest son) was displaced and forced Fred and Olivia to enroll him at Port Isabel High School where both Olivia and Fred have family. While it was a difficult transition, JD is doing extremely well academically and continued his passion for tennis and joined the tennis program at Port Isabel High School.


Although schools in Port Aransas re-opened on October 16, JD made a commitment to his new Port Isabel tennis team.  After this week's win, they have advanced to regional semi finals and are scheduled to play on Thursday in San Antonio. He will return home  as soon as his commitment comes to a close.

This campaign was set up by Karen Veerkamp, Secretary of the Dune's Board of directors who employ Fred with the approval of the Board, from Houston, TX.  The funds collected will go directly to AJ and JD in the form of checks from me to them. and will be used for their college expenses.
