Last week, Dylan Golden was admitted into St. Lukes hospital SICU after complaining of a migraine for numerous days.
He waited in pain for so long because like many others, he doesn’t have health insurance.
(as of now, his hospital costs have exceeded $100k+)
Right away the doctors found a brain bleed. After many tests, including 2 lumbar punctures to measure and help with the swelling& pressure in his brain, MRI’s, ct scans, angiograms, also fighting influenza b, the doctors diagnosed him with RCVS (reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome) which resulted in a hemorrhagic stroke.
Also at this time his wife, Amanda is in the same hospital after delivering their brand new baby boy Lennox. Unfortunately Dylan couldn’t be there for the birth of his son. But she was able to bring the baby up to meet him!
With both parents in the hospital, (dylan for an unknown amount of days) this is a huge financial stress on them.
having this support will help them to the road of recovery without the extra stress of unexpected bills & time lost from working. Dylan is a professional caregiver himself, and would never ask for this kind of help.
