Goku's leg surgery

Goku is an 8 month old foxy x jack russell. I've never had such an energetic dog before, if you say the word "park" he will literally run like crazy around the house and will scratch at the front door as if he's telling me to "hurry up already!'
Yesterday whilst playing with some bigger dogs, one of them jumped and landed really hard on one of goku's back legs, at first i thought maybe it was just a sprain because he started limping, but wasn't whining.
Later that night he started crying for hours on end so I took him to the vet, he had some x-rays taken (which cost $550) and some drugs to ease the pain, however it turns out that he's broken 2 bones in his leg and will need surgery which will cost a minimum of $3200 but most likely will be around $5000..
I'll spend every dollar I have to get him the surgery he desperatly needs but I could really use some help. I've never used this website before so I thought I'd give it a try. He's way too young to be going through so much pain and way to energetic and curious about the world to have to sit at home all day with a broken leg in a cast.. it really isn't fair. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you for taking the time to read this.
