Going GaGa for St. Rose School

Ever heard of a game called GaGa Ball?
It is a fantastically fun and physically active game that kids of all ages, as well as adults, LOVE to play. We want to bring this exciting game to St. Rose School!
How do we do that, and how can you help?
We’ll get to that in a minute. But first, a little more about the game…
GaGa Ball is played in a hard-sided, octagonal enclosure called a pit, with as few as two or as many as 20+ players. The object of the game is to use your hand to hit the ball at or below an opponent’s knees to eliminate them from the pit. The last one left in the GaGa Ball Pit is the winner. Something that makes GaGa Ball great is that kids of any size, age or athletic ability can play and have the same chance to win as anybody else.
The enthusiasm shown for this game is off the charts. For example, while at this year’s Outdoor School the kids got up at 6AM to be able to play GaGa Ball *before* breakfast!
To bring all this fun and excitement to St. Rose we need to construct a GaGa Ball Pit. Much research has gone into ensuring that this permanent playground addition will be a safe, durable, low maintenance and eye-catching structure that will be enjoyed for years to come.
A team of skilled volunteers will build the pit and, thanks to a generous discount provided by a local supplier who is a supporter of Catholic schools, our costs will be just under $3,000.
When considering making a donation to this campaign keep in mind that it will truly be an investment in the kids’ physical and social well-being, as well as a unique asset for the school itself.
