The Environmental Integrity Project has been actively investigating EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt and actions that the Trump Administration is taking to dismantle the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency. We need your help to continue.
Scott Pruitt, a longtime political ally of the oil and gas industry in his home state of Oklahoma, works more to help his friends in the fossil fuel industry than to protect the environment and health for most Americans. Our investigation found that Pruitt spent 43 out of 48 travel days this spring either in Oklahoma or flying to or from his home state. He met with industry and right-wing political organizations, and spent more than $12,000 in taxpayer funds for his airfare (not counting the cost of his security detail).
As a result of our report, the US EPA Inspector General is conducting a systemic audit to determine if Mr. Pruitt has improperly used taxpayer funds for his travel.

Administrator Pruitt – who denies the scientific consensus on climate change – has been siding with industry instead of the health of the American public, and has directed his agency to repeal, block, delay, or review a long list of environmental rules and regulations.
