Hello everyone, Our cat, MacGuyver, was diagnosed with urethra stones in February. We payed $1100.00 for surgery and 3 days of care by the animal hospital & when he came home, he was definitely not the same as before he went in. He would not use the litter box every time like he used to do. We were not happy, but we're grateful that he was still alive after the severe blockage. We went through the brutal process of changing his diet and he now only eats special dry and wet food specific for cats with urinary tract issues. This switch was not cheap but we do whatever we can for our fur babies, right?!    2 days ago, Guyvie began acting strangely (like before) and began peeing wherever he was. He is peeing on the floor, on our bed, and on himself. This morning I noticed that there is blood in his urine and he let's out a painful cry 50% of the time he pees. The lowest estimate we've received from a vet/animal hospital is $780. This covers visit, meds, x-rays and surgery. We have already payed $26 for urinary tract infection medicine. We cannot afford this surgery again, as we are still paying off the recent bill. We have applied for medical care coverage that is offered through the vets, but have been denied each time. We are unconsolably upset and this page is the only thing I can think of to help pay for his medical bills. I know that this is a cat and not a person, but any animal lover can agree that our fur babies ARE our children. Any denomination would be helpful and appreciated! Please help us make our little man better. He is only 3 years old and is full of personality. He deserves to live a longer and healthier life.  If you message me, I will provide proof that every penny will be going to Guyvie's vet bills. I was very hesitant on setting this up because, to me, it felt wrong. But I don't know what else to do to save our little buddy. He's pretty much the heart and soul of our household. He loves us and the kids unconditionally. I need him to get better.
