Help Chris Beat Hodgkin's Lymphoma

A few months ago, Chris Comstock, an extremely active 16-year-old, noticed a lump on his throat, near his ear.  After visiting the doctor, Chris and Angela were assured that it was just a swollen gland.  When the lump began to grow, Angela made another doctor’s appointment.  After several doctor’s appointments, a second opinion, and many tests later, including PET scans, bone marrow tests, and three biopsy’s, Chris Comstock has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma.   Treatment will begin as soon as possible, as doctors are still debating the treatment that will fit his needs. 

Angela, the sole provider, has already incurred unexpected costs from copays, travel expenses, and lost wages that have created a sudden, extreme economic hardship. As treatment progresses, Angela is faced with medical copays of $6250.00 for her son's treatment. Additionally, travel costs and a decrease in expected income due to time away from work are looming and inevitable.

We, friends of Angela and Chris, have set this up to alleviate the financial strain that encompasses this whole process so that the focus is on Chris getting healthy.  Our goal for Chris and Angela, is $15,000.   Any funds that are raised that aren’t used for his treatment will be donated to the Lymphoma Research Foundation (http://www.lymphoma.org) as soon as Chris beats this cancer……….and he WILL beat this cancer!!!
