What is GCRM? If you go to our website, GodsCavalry.com it can give you the full spectrum of what we are trying to accomplish, but here is a short version: At risk youth and adults that need guidance or help learning to cope or trust or even to be accepted. Veterans that have suffered and have PTSD that need a way to connect. What does that have to do with horses you ask? Does a horse judge you, will they bully you, will they put you down for your past or for the issues you face everyday? NO.....they are one of the most loving caring and understanding creatures on this Earth and they can listen and never judge. THIS is what we offer! We are a 501c3 tax exempt non-profit organization. We are a self-funded organization and have all our licensing available if you want to see it. We are renovating the old Powderhorn restaurant into a small retail store with lots of custom made items as well as essential oils (Do-terra and Young Living). We will also have items that locals have donated for sale. This is the location of our offices as well. The location for the actual therapy is on our ranch approximately 15 miles from the office. What I am asking from our community and anyone who would like to be a part in helping us make this happen is any type of donations. I will have different projects listed that you can donate towards. Also we will be taking material donations as well. Since we are an EAT (Equine Assisted Therapy) organization we can use any types of tack for the horses (blankets, saddles, halters, etc.).
