GMS Softball Boosters Field Renovation

My name is Regina Ziegler and I am the treasurer for the Greenbrier Middle School Softball Booster Club. The club is embarking on a major project for our student-athletes. The GMS softball team currently plays on a field that has been a part of our community for 30+ years. During that time, the field has suffered much wear and tear, but no major upgrades have been made. The GMS Softball Booster Club has been formed to raise funds to give our young ladies a safe, nice facility at which they can play and be proud to call their home. We have short-term and long-term plans, with the most pressing need being a new backstop and new dugouts. The estimated cost of this is $15,000! We have been working hard fundraising (car wash, t shirt and jewelry sales) and have currently raised $3000. We estimate our future fundraisers (pancake breakfast, restaurant night, school dance and company sponsors) will bring in an additional $3000.
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO GET US TO OUR GOAL! We need to begin work on the field in October/November 2013 to have it ready for our 2013-2014 season. Any amount that you can donate would be greatly appreciated!
We are a non-profit organization and will provide you with a receipt and a letter for your records if you would like us to. With strong backing from our families, friends and community, we believe we can make this dream a reality for our young ladies.
