In addition to the earthquake and it's aftermath, Haiti is now facing a cholera epidemic that has killed well over 3,000 and infected more than 100,000. And both figures are increasing with devastating speed.
Global DIRT has been providing much needed medical support, supplies and logistics, and has saved an untold number of lives. They operate on a very small budget with all of the funds going directly to improving the lives of Haitians.
To date they have been able to borrow or rent a vehicle, but this is limiting and they are in need of purchasing their own transportation. They have identified a used truck and have been able to negotiate a very fair price.
I am asking for your help in purchasing this vehicle for Global DIRT. It will enable them to better do their job and will save lives.
