Hey There! I am Arnav Jain, grade 11 student going into my last year of high school in Calgary, Alberta.
I am an aspiring entrepreneur with a result-oriented mindset and a friendly personality. I am passionate about science and technology, especially automobiles and breakthrough technology like artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual/ augmented reality, and biomedical engineering.
I have had the honour to be selected as one of the 40 members for the Junior Team Canada Trade Mission to China this summer in July with Global Vision (Canadian charitable organization).

As better stated by Global Vision themselves, “I will be branding Canada on the world stage,” and partnering with companies, governmental organizations, and national associations in Canada. The respective organizations “will gain valuable insight, market research, and connections in China” through my efforts to further Canada-China relations.
I am raising a total of $6000 CAD for this trip, and I am asking for $2500 CAD from wonderful people like you! You can view my application video for this trip and my letter of acceptance below. I was selected from a national competition based on my excellent leadership skills, ability to collaborate in a team, and commitment to contribute to my community.
This will be my second international trip representing Canada internationally as I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Stockholm, Sweden in May 2017 to witness innovation and business tactics from Sweden’s top 200 youth startups at a business conference. This was through a scholarship awarded to me through the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) for displaying exceptional leadership and teamwork in the Junior Achievement Company Program.
I was delighted to be featured in CPA’s biannual magazine, Capitalize (see below). The article described my successful business journey in the Junior Achievement Company Program and advice for future students. I have been part of two companies that have both performed exceptionally well financially and as a team.
Your contributions will enable me to develop my work and community leadership experience, learn and conduct international business, and enhance Canada-China relations in a meaningful way.
