Glenn's Pancreatic Cancer Battle

Donation protected
On March 14, 2018 Glenn & Michelle's lives changed forever.  At the age of 50, Glenn was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer and was given only months to live.  Glenn has always been an active person; biking, running and fitness were always a part of his life.  This diagnosis was shocking to say the least.  Over the past 9 months, Glenn has fought and battled the cancer with every ounce of his being.  He has endured 11 rounds of chemo and multiple painful procedures to minimize his suffering.  He has been in and out of both Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston and Miriam Hospital here in RI.  Glenn is a fighter.  He loves his family and is not eager to give up the fight.  He's not the only fighter in the family.  Michelle, his loving wife, has also fought hard.  Michelle has not left Glenn's side since his diagnosis .  She has supported him in every way imaginable, sacrificing herself to help Glenn get through this ordeal.  All the while, Michelle has been a mother to their three teenage daughters, Serena (18),  Rachel (16) and Regan (13).  Serena left for college in August, Univerity of Maine Orono,  and through all these changes Michelle has kept the family intact and functioning.
Glenn has always been a proud man who has worked hard to provide for his family.  Michelle is also a career woman but has had to put that on hold to take on this new role.  That being said, the financial strain of hospital bills, college bills and daily cost of living is catching up with them.  Glenn has survived beyond expectations and is receiving only a fraction of his income from disability.  This family needs support from family, friends and their community to make it through this dark painful journey.
I encourage you to visit Glenn's CaringBridge Page to learn more of their journey and to send them prayers and messages.
In addition, if you can and it's in your heart to donate, Glenn and Michelle will be forever grateful.  Your support and prayers would mean so much to them.
Thank you for taking the time to read Glenn & Michelle's story.  Please share/post to spread their story.
